Simple daily practices to generate confidence

Overview

  • Resisting Expression
  • Be The First To Smile
  • Tonality And Shoulder Relaxation

There is no science here (life experience for the “W”), it all comes from first hand interactions where uncomfortable moments slowly deteriorated. Practicing theses traits makes us into articulate, cultivating, captivating creators with a presence only the divine can relate to. Maybe not that, they will make anyone more confident that is willing to give it a try.

| Initiate Interest

Don’t wait. Whatever it is, the opportunity is there; telling ourselves we’ll do it next time repeats itself, creating a cycle of never making the leap. Say hi, commit to the endeavour, meet new people, have experiences that were previously unknown. Being interested in life creates magnetism, we become a component that creators, opposed to reacts. There isn’t anything more confident than knowing who we are or what we intend to accomplish.

| The Pearly-ish Whites

We wear thoughts and emotions on our face. “We’ll that’s not true, I have a resting bitch face, that’s all” – nope. My face has been in resting grumpy mode for years, know why? No direction, unresolved memories, identifying with labels in the mind. The moment we decide that happiness is a choice, our faces follow suit. Smile more, it’s the chlamydia of positivity.

| Posture & Tone

Credibility gets dismissed the moment our tonality fades quiet, hits a weird high note, and our shoulders droop forward. How we speak is a direct reflection of the way we perceive the world. With our words, oratory, and ability to tell stories. The voice is a powerful tool. Utilize it as an instrument of success. Listen to the body, it tells us when we are nervous. Breath, don’t think, and speak from the heart. The implacable individuals who excel in communication are ones who aren’t thinking, shoulders are relaxed and voice intimate with life. We tend to over complicate things, make the decision to speak confidently, it really is that simple.
